Different types of car's loudspeakers

Subwoofer
A speaker that mainly plays low-frequency signals
In order to extend the lower limit of low-frequency playback as far as possible, the caliber of the loudspeaker is relatively large. In general, the larger the caliber of the subwoofer, the better the low-frequency sound quality during playback, and the greater the input power it bears

Midrange speaker
A speaker that mainly plays intermediate frequency signals. The loudspeaker can realize the frequency connection when the bass speaker and the tweeter replay music. Because the intermediate frequency occupies the dominant range of the whole sound range, and the human ear is more sensitive to the intermediate frequency than other frequency bands, the sound quality of the midrange speaker is higher.

Highpitch speaker
A speaker that mainly plays high-frequency signals. In order to make the upper limit frequency of high-frequency playback reach the upper limit frequency of human hearing 20kHz, the loudspeaker has small caliber and tough vibrating film. Compared with low and mid tone speakers, the performance requirements of tweeter speakers are not only the same as that of mid tone unit, but also the upper limit of playback frequency band and large input capacity.

Full band loudspeaker
It refers to a speaker that can cover all frequency bands of bass, midrange and treble at the same time, and can play electrical signals in the whole audio range. Most of these loudspeakers are made into double paper basin loudspeakers or coaxial loudspeakers. A small-diameter paper basin is added in the center of the large-diameter speaker to replay the high-frequency sound signal, which is conducive to the improvement of the upper limit of frequency characteristic response. Coaxial loudspeaker is to install two subwoofers with different diameters and tweeters on the same central axis.
